I? would save around 570$ per month driving a electric car compared to a CNG powered car (that is still a lot cheaper than gasoline car).. So MORE than 600$ per month cheaper for me compared with a gasoline car.. Gasoline is 8,7$/gallon where i live.. I do not know the price where you are.. Assuming you are an American i converted from SEK to $ and from Litre to Gallon...

I absolutely agree. I live in California where one too many people have seen "The China Syndrome." I also live in Marin County, where we pat ourselves on the back for being "green." Does anyone ask? themselves about the lithium ion battery plants that are polluting the water in China? Or when you plug in their all-electric vehicles, that some coal-burning plant in some far corner of our state is spewing the same kind of crud into the air that we're trying to prevent?

for all the car makers..u ask yourself why ppl dount buy your electric cars???becouse u put elecrtic motors only on ugly and small cars..why u dount put electric motors on? all the modles u have,the same how? u chose a gazoline or a diesel motor,u need to have the possibility to chose an electric motor on the car model u want to buy,and up the autonomy on that cars.at least 400km ,u can do that..so do it

Hybrids and full electric vehicles are? a good Idea but think about it the batteries are under the rear seats in most of these that's where little babys sit. The batteries and charging system create an electromagnetic field, it probably does damage to the child. Their not worth it in my opinion
